Your event in the HIDA event space

Book the HIDA event space for Information & Data Science events

Are you looking for a space to hold lectures or meetings with other data researchers? Then why not book the HIDA event space—where data-driven minds come together in the heart of Berlin. If you’re hosting an event that focuses on topics in the field of Information & Data Science—whether it’s a meet-up, hackathon, presentation, or workshop—the HIDA event space at the HIDA Office Berlin offers the conditions and support you need to host your event.

HIDA aims to promote collaboration and the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas in Information & Data Science. To this end, the HIDA event space is available free of charge to all Helmholtz employees who want to host data science events and work meetings between data scientists.

All rooms come with modern technical equipment and are fully accessible.

Our premises

The Lab

Whether you’re planning a lecture for a larger audience or want to work in smaller, focused groups, this flexible space gives you the freedom to organize your event as desired. The Lab has space for up to 60 people. A partition can be used to divide it into two rooms and adapt it to the needs of the respective event.

The Arena

This option offers space for catering, and HIDA’s modern kitchenette ensures participants get their caffeine boost. The modular elements of the room also make it possible to organize the space to suit the occasion—from high-profile guests to informal work meetings in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Creative Box

Guaranteed to be “out of the box”: Thanks to its large magnetic wall, the Creative Box is ideal for creative workshops, presentations, and meetings for up to 12 participants, allowing them to work in small, focused groups.
