Interested in expanding your research network within Helmholtz or internationally? Considering a short research stay to explore new collaborations or develop a data-driven project idea?
The HIDA Mobility Program supports short-term research stays (1–3 months) for self-designed projects in the field of (applied) data and information sciences. The program is open to all Helmholtz employees — PhD candidates, postdocs, and senior scientists — and enables stays at another Helmholtz Center or at partner institutions in Norway, Canada, South Korea, or Austria.
The program aims to strengthen interdisciplinary exchange, foster new collaborations, and create space to explore innovative research directions. Funding of up to €2,000 per month is available to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis.
In this information session, we will provide an overview of the program, clarify eligibility and funding details, and walk you through the application process. There will also be time for questions and discussion — whether you are considering applying or hosting a guest researcher.
