HIDA’s data science courses provide practical training in key methods for modern, data-driven research, including data analysis, programming, and artificial intelligence.
The program combines flexible individual courses with thematically structured course clusters, allowing participants to develop competencies step by step or focus on specific topics relevant to their work.
Our courses are primarily designed for researchers at different career stages. They offer the opportunity to systematically build or deepen essential skills for data-driven and data-intensive research.
The program is organized into four thematic clusters and includes both standalone courses and formats that can be combined depending on individual learning goals. All courses are conducted online and offered throughout the year, making it easy to integrate them alongside research and professional commitments.
Four Thematic Clusters for Data Science Training
The courses are structured into four thematic clusters that cover different aspects of Data Science and support the development of both foundational and advanced competencies in this field. The courses combine conceptual understanding with practical, application-oriented approaches.
All courses are held online and available throughout the year, enabling flexible participation alongside ongoing research and professional commitments. Within each thematic cluster, courses are listed with links to detailed information on content, learning objectives, prerequisites, and registration.
