This course is a short, hands-on introduction to programming in MATLAB for learners with little or no prior experience. Using inflammation data as a motivating example, participants will learn fundamental programming concepts such as variables, arrays, loops, conditionals, and functions, as well as basic data analysis and visualization. The course aims to provide a solid foundation in MATLAB programming, enabling learners to continue exploring scientific computing independently or to take more advanced courses in data analysis and modeling.

This course is based on lesson plans provided by The Carpentries and will be taught by a certified carpentries instructor. To get an idea of the topics covered in this workshop, you can have a look at the example lesson plans here. But please be aware that the exact content covered in each course can vary slightly, depending on the course instructors and time constraints. You will get more information on this course closer to the starting date.
