Workshops
This year the CASUS Annual Workshop will focus on "Fusion of Artificial Intelligence & Simulation" and will bring together experts from a variety of scientific communities presenting work on fusing AI with Simulation. Subjects will include - but are not limited to - AI-driven Surrogate Modelling, Data-driven Modelling, Artificial Intelligence & High-Performance Computing, Fusion of Data from Measurements & Simulations, Interactive High-Performance Computing, Fusion of Numerical Methods & Artificial Intelligence and In-Memory Workflows for Exascale Computing including Artificial Intelligence.

CASUS Annual Workshop Scientific Organizing Committee
The Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) is a newly founded research center for data-intensive complex systems research established in August 2019 in Görlitz / Germany. It focuses on four research domains: Matter under Extreme Conditions, Earth System Science, Systems Biology and Autonomous Vehicles.
CASUS is a joint center of Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden – Rossendorf, Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, Technische Universität Dresden (Technical University of Dresden – TUD), Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics and the Uniwersytet Wrocław (University of Wrocław).
